Where We're Going

Ancestral Mandates and Spiritual Voices -
Our Journey On the Sacred Path To the Next 500 Years

WHEREAS: We, the representatives of Indigenous People and Nations have met
in unity, with one voice, on the critical present situation and the future
of the Five-fingered Ones. From the beginning of time we have had a unique
spiritual and physical relationship with the universe, Mother Earth, and the
natural world, including the lands and waters, the air, light and the
minerals, which are necessary conditions for our survival and our collective
and individual well-being, and

WHEREAS: We hold these powers and Authorities that our indigenous elders
granted to us in order to carry out our Duties and Responsibilities to the
Creator, Communities, Tribes, Nations, Mother Earth and All the Four-legged,
the Creepy-Crawlers, the Winged, and the Finned, and all Beings seen and
unseen, with the guidance of the sacred Inherent, Indigenous Beliefs, Values
and Principals of our People, Communities, and Nations, and

WHEREAS: We believe that the Creator has given sacred responsibilities to
Human Beings and Communities, Tribes, Nations, Mother Earth, Father Sky and
all the Four-legged, the Creepy-Crawlers, the Winged and Finned, and all
Beings seen and unseen. We believe that everything the Creator made or
gifted to us is Sacred, and that we must not forget to take care of,
protect, preserve and perpetuate All Living Beings within all Natural Laws,
and that we shall have no Orphans in our Communities, Tribes, and Nations,
and

WHEREAS: We are expressing deep concern regarding the present condition of
our Mother Earth, the four elements, and our environment , which has been
violated and is not in accordance with the sacred instructions and beliefs
of our elders and ancestors. The Universal Laws and Principles must be
preserved and honored for they reveal to us the cooperative and sacred
relationship that must exist between people, the environment, the animals,
and the plants of Mother Earth, and

WHEREAS: We, the Five-fingered Ones, must acknowledge and not forget that it
was the spirit of the Universal Laws and Properties, with the sacred
Creator¹s law, that over billions of centuries created all that we see,
touch, feel, and taste, and that human beings are the late arrival of this
sacred journey, and

WHEREAS: Our spiritual elders and wisdom keepers, dedicated to keeping the
Beauty Way of our sacred path alive, say the spirals in our hands tell us
that we must again walk the ancient path to the beginning where Time stood
still, to awaken the sacred message that is lying dormant, which we call the
Great Laws.

WHEREAS: It was confirmed, after many spiritual gatherings in all the
regions of the Americas, that we have come to the ending time of the last
five-hundred-year cycle of the indigenous calendar. It is the time of the
reawakening of the wisdom and the prophecies, which must be shared to teach,
heal, and preserve. We must take responsibility to work towards the
restoration of harmony, balance, and peace for the well-being of our Mother
Earth and All Living Beings.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: We respectfully request that the
Spiritual Elders and the Children of Mother Earth acknowledge that the
sacred indigenous calendar is ending. Now, we must prepare for and take
possession of the next five-hundred-year journey just as our ancestors,
wisdom keepers, time keepers, medicine people, and elders did for us five
hundred years ago, in accordance with the Great Laws, tradition, and
fulfillment of our sacred prophecies, which the Creator has gifted to us,
and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: The Council of Spiritual Elders of Mother Earth
hereby respectfully requests that the spiritual elders and leaders initiate
and focus on this sacred pathway for the next five hundred years. We request
that the elders and leaders take into account our environment, the four
elements, and our relationship to all the living Beings; our
responsibilities for the healing and the well-being of Mother Earth and her
children here and yet to come. The sacred resources from the holy ones, the
ancestors, our elders, and the seven generations will guide us into this
Blessing Way, united with one voice, with prayer, and in one spirit, as we
walk in Beauty and are one with creation, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: This mandate is our sacred Duty and
Responsibility that must be carried out for the Creator, Communities,
Tribes, Nations, Mother Earth, and all the Four-legged, the Creepy Crawlers,
the Winged, and the Finned, and all Beings, seen and unseen, with the Sacred
Inherent, Indigenous Beliefs, Values and Principles of the People, according
to the Natural Laws.
